the cry of my heart is to sing a new song, pleasing and acceptable to God.  today, while i was feeding ellie, i was working on some concepts i'd been meaning to explore for a while.  after some not very successful attempts i felt a need to pray.  God told me to sing what i was praying and this song was written:

What a joy and blessing to delcare God glorious, worthy, holy, magnified and lifted high!

I'm back!!!!!!!!!

okay so today was a cool day   after hearing the sermon yesterday about the holy spirit and following God's leading, i made the decision that from now on i would always follow that still small voice that leads and guides throughout the day.

this morning i was reading my bible when God told me to call my friend and ask her if i could go to church with her.  as i've previously mentioned, i attend church on saturday, today was sunday, so i was kinda confused, but God was persistant.  so, i called my friend and asked her...a while later she came by to pick me up and off to church we went. 

when we arrived i noticed that the man that was preaching had been in my church yesterday (he turned out to be the pastor of that church).  the sermon was really good, but i didnt think it was the reason God had told me to go there.  meeting people afterwards was really nice, but again, i didnt think it was why i had to be there.  then when everyone else had left and there were only a handful of people left, the pastor walked up to me and said "i really enjoyed your worship yesterday".

*DING DING DING DING*

all of a sudden, for whatever reason, it seemed clear to me that THIS was why i was supposed to come.  he went on to affirm the calling God placed on me to worship leading, affirmed what another man of God had told me in that i have things about worship to learn.  i was so excited i could have bounced outta there! 

so now i'm all fired up again, waiting to see what God has in store.  whatever it is, i know its going to be awesome, and i have a feeling i wont be quite the same after

just wanted to let you all know that i havnt been writing or online much this last week cause the tendonitis is flaring up in my wrists again.  normally it is just one side at a time, but at the moment its both wrists.  unfortunatly this means i have to rest them as much as possible and have been banned from getting online to chat or write long emails

today was a great day.  nothing too exciting happened. i didnt talk to anyone other then mike, ellie and my mum.  i spent the day doing little things that hadnt been done, that needed doing. 

mike and i went to zellers this morning to take some things back, on the way out we saw some china sets (40 pieces in a box) on sale.  we have been slowly but surely breaking bits of our table ware, so have been contemplating getting another set.  we found a set we liked and decided to buy two boxes, we now have settings for 8 people; dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, cups, saucers, knives, forks, spoons, small glasses and large glasses!!!  all for *dun dun DUN* $35!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we also went shopping for a couple of baby boy outfits for some friends of ours...i discovered that there are a lot of really cute little boy outfits!  i hadnt looked  before.

when we got back from all our traipsing mike and i were talking...and the funniest thing happend.  we were stood next to ellie, but not actually talking to her or looking at her, and she started to blow raspberries at us, she didnt stop until we realised what she was doing and we turned and gave her attention!  at which point she broke out a huge grin!  suffice to say mike and i were reduced to a laughing heap of love for our girl

so, that was my day...now ellie is tired and in a few minutes i'll be going to put her in bed, then i'm going to watch the final episode of stargate season 8!

today was a good day!

okay so i havnt updated this for a while...i have actually been having a life!

so i wont bore you all with the minor things i have been doing.  i do however, need to let you all know that mike got his acceptance letter for CUC yesterday! 

WOOOHOOOOO!!!! 

we have bought our tickets and will be flying out to alberta on august 16th.  anyone wanna help me pack???
